MEET THE TEAM: Daniel Ghiteanu – Web Developer

As a Web Developer, Daniel contributes to every project he’s involved in, bringing technology and functionality through each line of code. He joined our team two and a half years ago and has demonstrated technical skills, a strong desire to learn, and a passion for the digital field.

Experience and Motivation:

Although this is his first job as a Web Developer, Daniel has gained significant experience in recent years. He learned programming for a year and worked on various projects in high school, laying the groundwork for a promising career.

Motivated by the secure development environment and the opportunity to work with modern technologies, Daniel chose Wolf Digital Media as the ideal place to continue his professional growth.

Development and Involvement:

Since joining our team, Daniel has learned a wide range of technologies, including Vue, Nuxt, React, Next, databases, and styling. He has contributed to various projects, including Ality (a time tracking and task management application) and Smartmeniu (template, landing page, dashboard).

Goals and Ambitions:

Daniel has ambitious goals for his career. He aims to become a fullstack developer and master all web domains. He is determined to continuously learn, work hard, and take initiative to achieve his goals.

1. What previous experience do you have in this field or other relevant fields?

During high school, I explored various projects and started learning programming for a year. Wolf Digital Media is my first professional experience in the field, and I have been here for 2 and a half years.

2. What motivated you to apply for your current position at WDM, and what specifically attracted you to the company?

I was attracted to WDM due to the secure development environment I observed and the use of technologies I am familiar with.

3. How was your recruitment and hiring process? What impressed you about the team or the company?

The process included several stages, starting with an initial introduction and culminating in a technical interview. I was impressed by the communication and teamwork, aspects I greatly appreciated.

4. What new technologies or skills have you learned since joining our team, and how have they influenced your work?

I advanced my knowledge from Vue and Nuxt to React and Next. Additionally, I explored technologies for databases and styling, which has significantly enriched my work.

5. What projects are you currently working on, and what is your role in them?

I am involved in most web projects, focusing on completing the Ality application for time tracking and task management. I also contribute to the development of Smart Meniu, working on everything from templates to landing pages and dashboards.

6. How do you dedicate time to personal development? What courses or training have you attended, and what have you learned from them?

In my free time, I engage in volunteer projects, creating websites for associations and improving my portfolio. I have taken courses by Mosh Hamadani and The Net Ninja, which have solidified my knowledge.

7. What are your long-term career goals at WDM or in the digital field?

I aim to become a fullstack developer and learn as much as possible, contributing significantly to the company’s growth and success.

8. In what direction do you want to steer your professional career, and what steps will you take to get there?

I will continue on my current path, focusing on learning and professional growth, to ensure I can bring significant value to the team and company.

9. What are your plans and objectives for this year, both in terms of your work and personal development?

My objectives for this year include completing a fully developed priority stack and gaining extensive knowledge in the web domain.
